The service at this restaurant was excellent. When we arrived, the waiter introduced the fresh catch of the day and recommended dishes and cooking methods based on the type of seafood we wanted to eat. We ordered a fish recommended by the staff, and it was incredibly fresh and flavourful. A 600g fish cost around £60, which was very reasonable for the quality. We also tried one of their local desserts caramel pudding, which was delicious too. Highly recommended.

The food was absolutely divine. The fish is super fresh and tasted delicious, super soft but full of flavor. The potatoes were also extraordinary, crunchy in the surface and soft inside, extremely recommended. The black risotto is also super tasty. The service was amazing, really attentive and close and the place very welcoming and comfortable.

It was the Monday after Easter and so the fish selection was limited but delicious. We had the chef's choice which was four different types of fish grilled plus a nice salad. The atmosphere is inside the courtyard of a very old home. Unfortunately, it smells so good that we had already eaten one of the fish by the time I remember to take picture.

Konoba Fetivi - a true highlight! The restaurant is nestled comfortably within the charming old town, so the walk there sets the stage for a lovely evening. On arrival, we were seated within the cosy stone courtyard and enjoyed the busy atmosphere on a warm evening. Our waitress was genuine and attentive, making us feel welcome in the intimate setting. She brought a platter of fresh fish to our table showcasing the local catches available for the day. She then spent time thoughtfully explaining the flavour profile of each variety, even detailing the texture differences and highlighted the unique taste offered by a fish high in collagen. Her knowledge was impressive, although not surprising for a fisherman’s daughter! The food was fantastic, somehow surpassing the wonderful setting and immaculate hospitality. The kitchen offered unpretentious dishes that were executed brilliantly. We enjoyed the cuttlefish risotto and stewed octopus, both local specialties that come recommended for a reason. We also tried the waitress’s favourite - a plate of cured and marinated seafood prepared in house. A simple dish showcasing the high-quality local fare, including some of the best anchovies you’ll find anywhere. A surprising stand-out was a simple broth made from fish bones - a deeply savoury and heartwarming dish. Not fancy, but so flavoursome. Being quite full, we sadly declined desert, then immediately cast our eyes longingly at another table who ordered a lovely traditional cake! Konoba Fetivi is a restaurant worthy of its praise. It melds local charm, honest hospitality and fantastic cooking into something that exceeds all expectations. It’s no surprise it features in the Michelin guide - a must visit while you’re in Split, maybe more than once!
