The steak was okay, and we ordered it medium for doneness. Some parts were a bit too meaty, as they tasted more well-done. The truffle black pepper was great and not too overwhelming. The Steak with Scallop Don was flavorful, and the taste of everything mixed together was just right. The scallops were fresh, but the beef slices had a "dried blood" aftertaste and texture. The side dishes, like the Mac & Cheese and Egg with Creamy Spinach, were okay but not very fancy. The service staff were friendly and approachable. I recommend making a reservation before you visit, as it gets quite busy during dinner peak.
Great spot for a steak. Made reservations in advance and came with 2 friends da so we could sample and split. There was a special collab going on with Fortuna where we got a steak with a big ravioli on top, and it was outstanding. Also ordered 2 other steaks off of the menu and they were well seasoned and well cooked - perfect medium rare. Loved the peppercorn sauce, added some extra punch. Delicious mac and cheese, and some tasty creamed spinach. Good service and nice steakhouse feel. Will definitely go back.
Had dinner on Christmas eve. Upon seating, we were asked whether we’d like tap water ($0.50 per pax), still or sparkling ($2.50 per pax). For starters, i ordered the clam chowder ($10), which came with croutons. While the chowder was very tasty, it was also on the salty side, with bits of clam in the soup. For mains, i ordered the Featherblade Steak ($25), which came with no sides (there were options to include sides, but all of them required a top up of at least $2.50). The meat was tender and well cooked. We also got the ebi prawn burger ($22), which was very tasty but also quite salty. Upon closer dissecting of the ebi patty, it was the crust that was salty, combined with the prawn and the slaw, making it a very salty burger. The star of the show was indeed the dessert, which i ordered in advanced, the Matcha Tiramisu ($16). It was not too sweet, creamy and well balanced. Since it was our anniversary, it came with non alcoholic shots, which were a nice touch. Despite all, the service was prompt, food came really fast, and we were promptly seated , given that we had made a reservation. Overall, the meal was on the salty side, given the location, prices were on the high side, with the added bonus of it being very romantic - although the restaurant was quite a squeeze.
Our go to place to satisfy our steak cravings. This place is always so crowded for dinner. Their steak is nicely done to individual’s preference - medium rare & medium. My dining partners loved the Mac & cheese. Their tiramisu is another must order. We loved the rose ones. The matcha was quite rich, great for matcha lovers. Maybe can consider experimenting other tiramisu flavors like peach or lychee. We love dining in when Amira is around. She is so attentive & efficient, her friendly service makes the dining experience so much richer. & their cocktails, especially the Sangria is another must order. Overall always a great, happy & satisfied dining experience.
We had a very good experience here. We made a booking. We were promptly seated and served complimentary popcorn flavoured with thyme. This was truly the best. Water is chargeable. We ordered a meal for 2 and added on another main, side and drink for our 3rd friend. For starters, the crab brioche was a little bit of a disappointment as it was not that outstanding. The chowder was rather nice. For mains, we felt that the featherblade was better than the striploin. We also had the cacio E pepe raviolo which was the biggest disappointment as it was not that tasty at all and cost quite a bit. For sides we got the nori fries and the pommes aligot. The sides were really good. We all liked the matcha-misu dessert. As well as the drinks. The menu prices look rather affordable but because the dishes are quite small and so it all added up and was also still quite hungry at the end.
