Brought my family to New Ubin Seafood at CHIJMES for dinner and we had a very enjoyable experience. We ordered a good variety of local-cum-fusion dishes, including their crispy seafood/tofu-style dish wrapped with a black crispy layer, as well as desserts like chendol-style coconut milk dessert and ice cream served with kaya. The food was nicely presented, tasty, and the portions were generous. Special thanks to the owner, Mr Pang, for reserving a room for us. He was very friendly and even sat with us to recommend the dishes personally. Service was fast, the place was clean, and the ambience was comfortable for family dining. Pricing was quite reasonable for the quality and portion. I also noticed they have many different types of alcohol available, so next round I will definitely try some drinks too. Overall, a pleasant dinner experience with good food, good service, and warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

Had such a great experience here 🥰 The service was very attentive and personalised. We were initially seated near the bar, but when we asked for a window seat, the staff kindly accommodated us without any fuss 🙏 Food came out really quickly, and the service was super thoughtful — they even offered to help us cut the stingray fish, which we really appreciated 🐟✨ There’s a wide variety of local dishes, with a few fun fusion twists. Really enjoyed the food and the overall vibe of this place 😋 We also celebrated our loved one’s birthday here, and the staff were very accommodating and sweet, which made the celebration extra special 🎂💛 Would definitely recommend 👍✨

Visited New Ubin Seafood with a group of four and had an excellent experience. The foie gras with egg was absolutely outstanding and easily one of the highlights of the meal. In fact, every dish we ordered was impressive. The stingray was especially memorable—thick, meaty, and generously portioned. Even the bones were deep-fried to a crispy finish, almost like potato chips, so nothing goes to waste. The curry fish head was huge and packed with tender meat, perfect for sharing. The ribeye lived up to all the great reviews—perfectly done and full of flavour. This is a fantastic spot to host foreign guests, as you can showcase a wide variety of local flavours all in one place. Highly recommended and definitely a place I would return to.

Had dinner with friends here earlier. Get there early, and attended to by the counter staff to my table. Service is good overall, good job for the service staff. Ordered fried bee hoon, fried rice, brinjal, steam fish, pork collar, and fried fish roe with petai for sharing among four person. Had a draft guiness, which is nice. Recommend the brinjal, which is thin sliced and taste really good. It is a bit pricey, at $20 for a small portion. Steam fish is fresh, taste alright. Fried fish roe away really good, worth a try. Other dishes were just normal. Overall, the dishes were good and i do recommend to go and try if anyone is around the area.

This restaurant is on the level two CHIJMES. This is a place with tables and private room and you can call in advance and join their membership to get waiver on corkage . The fried prawn ball was tasty 😋 Signature prawn paste fried chicken wing , you can never go wrong . The fried vegetables Qing long Cai is fresh and crunchy . The spicy sotong was aromatic and tender . Dried been Hoon new Ubin signature was pretty good and is a must order . De shelled prawns in cereal and was good ! The dish I don’t get is smoked pork curry, it’s tiny bit of bacon in a curry sauce with onsen egg on top .
