I arrived before 8pm, no one was there to open the door and there was no information how to get in, so I had wait till one guest opened it for me. The guy from reception wasn’t friendly, he didn’t really care about me. The rooms was clean enough, bathrooms were fine too. Kitchen has no deep plates and drawers are dirty. Location is good, super close to the MRT
Great value for money with excellent location. 5-10 mins walk to all major sites in China town. Only Con was that there is no elevator to carry your heavy suitcases and bunk beds despite being decent size and comfortable, used to make a lot of noise and shakes if the person above or below you shifts.
Definitely needs an upgrade!! Staff are great but the beds are nasty!!! Metal garbage coffins for beds. Can't even sit up without smashing your head and making a ton of noise. The squeak and shake with the slightest movements. Place needs to have mould control done in the building. There are old mattress out on the balcony and they are absolutely disgusting and are out there because they were sprayed an hr before I was able to check in. I work construction and do renovations so I can definitely say this place is in need of an overhaul. I feel bad giving this review because the staff were great. However I'd be embarrassed to own this place with the amount of business it gets and just letting it get worse! Owner obviously doesn't care about upgrading it. And the people who stay here long term are next level nasty sorry! Zero respect for others staying here and pick their noses and wipe it all over the walls like little children. Old smelling clothes hanging on the doors. It's Singapore!!!
I stayed at their female dorm for 1 night. For cleanliness, it is so so. Not bad, but not that good too. There are several long-stay guest, and they put their personal belonging in the bathroom, and suitcase is everywhere. The height of the bed is so low that i cannot sit up straight while in the bed. But they have complete facilties. Their pantry is the best, and the communal room is cozy too. Worth to stay for 1 night, i think.
Affordable and clean hostel for my 1 day transit while in Singapore. Facilities were good enough for what you’re paying. Staff is friendly and their hotline works great
