Located in a very good area Xintiandi, this restaurant is easy to find. The ambience is cozy and relaxing with a singer & band as a background music. The food is good, but I would not say excellent as this is not the best in my taste. The backribs tasted good but rather hard ro chew. The portion is just right for me, but for some people who love to eat a lot in quantity, this would be too little and expensive for the size.
This place USED TO BE awesome in Xintiandi but it has moved to the mall nearby. Food is still amazing but the ambiance is completely standard.
Excellent food with great services, and there was jazz performance during dinner. I like how refined the food was and how meticulously well made that they are. I thoroughly enjoyed dining here.
This restaurant deserves a better rating. Loved the ambience here and there was some live music. Located at a good location in Xin Tian Di too. The fried eel was very crisp and well seasoned, with slices of ginger to get rid of any fishiness or greasiness. The very beautifully presented 東坡肉 (braised pork belly) was a big portion and very thick cuts of meat, with a good ratio of fat in between. Slightly expensive but I enjoyed my meal here throughly.
Great night, wonderful food... should have taken some pictures of the restaurant itself, the design is well thought out... comfortable and welcoming describes it best... enjoy.
