An amazing restaurant in Shanghai’s Jing An neighborhood. We visited for lunch and it was our first time trying food from Xinjiang area. We were absolutely thrilled. The succulent lamb chops, the lamb skewers with their delicious coating of herbs and spices , the mouth watering fried pie stuffed with lamb, onion, mushrooms, and mozzarella cheese, the flatbreads served with grilled bell peppers, Xinjiang jam and chili sauce and finally the marinated wild chives, a taste I will never forget. As for the coctails we had the Natali Breeze!! Simply amazing. The atmosphere is exceptionally pleasant and relaxed. The service was super fast, friendly and attentive although the restaurant was almost full. Highly recommended.
My favorite restaurant in Shanghai!!!! The food is absolutely delicious, the cocktails are divine and the owner is the best! She is from the region herself and wants to bring her culture to Shanghai. The food is made with love and you can taste it. Inside is really romantic and cosy and their outside terrace gives you a view over the city!
I really enjoyed the good in this ethnic restaurant. Especially the mushrooms and the meat pies (juicy!). The waitress was friendly and attentive. Relaxed and modern vibe.
Superb Halal option in Shanghai, serving tasty xinjiang cuisine. Highly recommend the Xibonese stew and the milk tea (salty option was great). Lamb chop was a good sized portion - imo it was done similar to western style but served with the cumin spice mix on the side to give it the local touch. Cozy ambience great for gatherings with friends/family.
Tasty west Chinese food with a lot of variety. Portions are good for the price. Service was nice and friendly. We didn't have to wait long for our food even tough we were there during Chinese New year. It was no problem to take away the left overs. Will go there again.
