First and foremost this Hostel Complex is damn clean, ive stayed both in the dorm rooms and the single rooms and they both have great cleanliness standards even in the shared washrooms are always cleaned constantly. I understand that dorm rooms may not have bath products but for the Double Room? seriously? theres no toothbrush nor shower gels (they sell them at reception). The room itself was nice and quite spacious. Id recommend doubles to book a double room over Dorm rooms. The staff are abit timid not entirely friendly, they seem rather sarcastic. The food downstairs are well priced and okay for a quick feed but theres better options just outside. The common rooms kitchen was well stocked when i browsed through the building and really clean. Location is everything if you dont have time on your side and this is a great place to stay at. Late checkouts arent possible so youll need to inform them before hand if your leaving super early in the morning, i just dropped my key with security one time. Its pricey for dorms but well worth it in terms of cleanliness and sleep quality.
Excellent hostel with a great lounge area. Rooms are basic but as expected for the price. Staff were understanding, and the lounge area was really good for socialising and meeting people; something I have found other hostels to not do so well. The location of this hostel could not be better; right in the city center and a stone's throw from the river promenade.
價格不貴,交通不是很便利,也不顯眼,錯過再回頭才找到 電梯有限制使用時間,且房間不但隔音不好,門也感覺沒什麼安全性 房間很昏暗 基本上看起來乾淨但不會想再去住 This hostel is a option not expensive. But not convenient to get there and you have to spend some time to find it.(The sign is not conspicuous.) If you'll be there at night, attention! There's a restriction of elevator using time. You'll be possibly have to go up by stairs. What's more, the sound insulation is bad, the door makes me feel very insecure and the room is lack of light at night. Not very bad but I won't want to stay there.
If you are a traveller, do not use this hostel. It is used primarily by cheapskate businessmen who will get angry if you make any noise past 10pm but will ensure they wake you up at 7am by clearing their throats as loudly as possible in the ensuite sink and chatting. The rooms are filthy, I found half a dozen cobwebs and used cigarettes under my bed. The security guard uses the communal kitchen and living area to watch TV on full volume most of the day which is antisocial. The WiiFi is unusable, I heard multiple guests complain about it and some asked me if it was bad for me too.
Awesome location! Right in the heart of downtown Shanghai, lots within walking distance and super close to the subway system! Very affordable rates, comfy beds, and friendly staff. They even have a restaurant with their attempt of western food.
