Lost Heaven is a beautiful and memorable dining experience. Tucked away near the Bund, the entrance is discreet, but once inside, the atmosphere is stunning. The staircase and interior design are full of thoughtful details, with dim lighting, fresh flowers, and a warm, cozy vibe that immediately sets the tone. Service was professional and attentive, with staff speaking good English and handling everything efficiently without being intrusive. The food was well executed: the shrimp spring rolls were excellent, crispy and flavorful, and the fried pork was perfectly cooked, though the sauce could be improved. The fried rice was a great balance to the dishes, while the noodles were pleasant but more on the mild side. Tea service was a highlight, beautifully presented, and the wine selection by the glass is solid. Draft beer options are limited, and complimentary water would be a nice addition. Overall, Lost Heaven stands out more for its atmosphere and aesthetics than bold flavors, but the experience as a whole is worth it. A great place for a relaxed, stylish night out and a restaurant that leaves a lasting impression.

Amazing vegetarian restaurant from de Yunnan The red and black color scheme is so classy, and you can stroll around the Bund after eating to digest your food The wall paintings in the private rooms are also very charming, suitable for team building, gatherings, and dates! Huayao Dai Gasha Beef Soup Pot 🐂 This is really special, the aroma is very layered, especially the fragrance of mint leaves is super wonderful. It is also super healing to have a hot soup before dinner due to the recent big drop in temperature~ Blue Phoenix Hot and Sour Shrimp 🦐 The sauce of this shrimp is also very special, a bit like curry, with the aroma of coconut milk, and a little more sour and spicy, it feels a bit like a combination of Southeast Asian and Yunnan flavors.

A very nice place for dinner for just the 2 of us. The lighting was on darker side so it felt very cosy on a cold Feb 2026 night… the food was really different and excellent. Every dish was interesting and delicious, and service was pretty attentive. Reservation is a must as it was quite crowded.

Whatever I say does not do justice to the taste and the ambience of this restaurant just wow! Raddison Collection’s concierge suggested this restaurant to us and honestly the 21 minutes walk was totally worth it. At first when we reached we thought there were no customers but as we went to the second floor we were like wowww! Never judge a book by its cover! If you are in Shanghai, looking for filling and delicious food, this is the place!!!!
