This place is really cool. It has an outdoor and indoor rooftop bar. Service was excellent. It’s not cheap but it is worth a visit as it’s not ridiculously busy.

We did not stay in the Hostel but visited the rooftop bar. Take a lift to tge 5thg floor and then walk up to the floor 6. The Captain, located on Fuzhou Road, is easily one of the best spots in Shanghai for a rooftop experience. The views of The Bund and the majestic Pearl Tower are truly incredible—it’s the perfect place to watch the lights come up over the city. What really set the experience apart, however, was the superb service, driven by the wonderful manager, Bella. She was attentive and welcoming from the moment we walked in, quickly finding us a prime table on the outside terrace despite how busy it was. The service staff were prompt and friendly, and the menu offers a wide and satisfying range of drinks and food options. Whether you're looking for a classic cocktail or a casual bite to eat, The Captain delivers. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a great evening out with an unbeatable view and top-notch hospitality.

I don’t stay in the hotel but visit the bar and restaurant. sitting in this bar you could enjoy the fabulous views of the Bund from the rooftop. Enjoy the scenery, contrast between the historic buildings on the Bund and the modern skyline across the Huangpu River creates a breathtaking scene, especially at night when the city lights up.

went to the rooftop bar. The manager is a Filipina! she's very warm and welcoming. The view of the bund here is superb. Menu Prices were reasonable. My cousins and I had a blast here. will come back next time for sure
