This was our 1st stop in Sevilla, and it did not disappoint! Outside was a nice area of chairs and tables and inside was very cozy with wooden ceiling, lots of old pictures on the walls, and many historic tools mounted all over. Service was fast and efficient, we had a variety of well served tapas, goat cheese and marmalade, solomillo al whiskey, carrilladas, pimientos da padrón, and croquetas. It was easy to sit and enjoy great food in a calm, relaxing environment.
I can honestly say nothing bad about this place. We had a great dinner here and would gladly recommend it to other people and return next time around. We came in with a reservation and were immediately seated at a set table. The restaurant feels cozy and welcoming, there is a lot to see because they have many picture frames of black and white pictured on the wall. We ordered drinks and they came almost immediately. After finishing looking at the menu we ordered food. We ordered four tapas plates for three people which was enough. And had dessert for fun. Everything we ordered we enjoyed. We recommend the cod with cilantro and Sevillian bitter orange aoli. The very was very juicy and not dry or chewy at all. All the flavor came through. Also the Presa (pork shoulder cut) was a good try. With some variety you can never go wrong with the tomato with burrata and walnuts. Refreshing and delicious. After finishing up we still ordered dessert, which definitely did not disappoint. Especially the tangerine mouse. Light airy and refreshing with the combination of dark chocolate. A great end to a great dinner. The service was fast and attentive, I can’t say anything bad about it.
Tried their Cod fillet with Sevilla orange , artichokes with chimichurri sauce. Former was delightful for just €6 and latter was refreshing. Both were recommended by their chef and I agree that they’re best in this place!
Un sitio lindo pero bastantemente decepcionante. Really cute place, incredibly mid//less than average quality food. We found a hair in our boquerones. Also ordered the garbanzos w/langostinos, which at best were garbanzos with previously frozen shrimp. The octopus was clearly also previously frozen, and incredibly chewy (not in a good way). Service was fine. Try to get a reservation elsewhere or wait for the better options nearby, a skip for me!
The service was great, but the food is the best food of the whole trip! The pork loin croquettes and fried camembet with tomato and basil jam are to die for. I had to get a second order of them. 10/10 would recommend and come again
