Sometimes there can be a queue, which completely depends on your luck or the time you visit. We went around 4:00 PM and sat down without waiting at all, but while we were inside, a 15-20 minute line had already formed at the door. Once it's your turn, you go inside and order directly from the counter. You can order half portions or mix different items to create your own platter. You grab your drinks and take a seat, and when your food is ready, they bring it in paper cones and pour it right onto the table. There is no chance of getting anything stale; while we were there, the counter emptied twice and they kept bringing out fresh, hot batches from the kitchen. If you love seafood, there is no way you won't like this place. You can enjoy delicious fried seafood in a great, casual local atmosphere. We hesitated after reading a few negative reviews, but we are so glad we went!
Great spot to enjoy typical Andalusian fried fish! Everything is fresh, well-prepared, and crispy without being greasy. The portions are generous, and you pay by weight, which lets you try a bit of everything. The atmosphere is simple but authentic, and the staff is friendly. Excellent value for money, especially given the central location in Seville. Highly recommended if you're visiting the city!
Incredibly delicious down-to-earth food. Friendly staff and the place is impeccably clean. We had a mixed cone and liked it so much we went back for more the next day, and the fried squid too
Don’t skip the tomato salad! Large portions, fried well and great service. Walked by a large line for this place in the evening & made a note to come back the next day for lunch. I felt bad asking for mayonnaise for the anchovies but they did not bat an eye and handed me several packets. I regret not ordering the frito variado (mixed fried fish) to have a little more variety as it was a LOT of anchovies (but delicious). There was a flat pancake like dish that the other tables had ordered from the counter which was not on the menu and apparently it is quite good.
Best meal I had in Seville, the fried squid is amazingly fresh and tasty. Less than 10 euro for a portion for one.
