Operating since 1670, this is the oldest tavern in the city, where waiters still write your bill in chalk directly on the wooden bar counter.

Everything was perfect! We especially loved the calamari and the marinated clams/mussels. The chorizo and ham were absolutely delicious as well. Excellent food, great quality, and wonderful flavors. Highly recommended!

Very popular place for it's historic presence in the area. As we walked in without a reservation we were lucky to be accommodated at a sherry barrel where enjoyed tapas and specials of the day. The food was good but the atmosphere of the place is what continues to bring in crowds. Reservation recommended.

I gave this establishment 5 stars purley for the history. This establishment is the oldest pub in Seville dating back to 1670. The history and stories this place has is unimaginable. The food and wait staff are great the servers operate the place as if it is their own. DefInetly try the pork in whiskey sauce. There are No chairs so expect to stand for your entire stay. Take in the atmosphere that centuries ago sailors and royalty would drink and eat at this little shop.

400+ years of charm. Loved it. We went twice, first on a dinner reservation when we were seated upstairs, and later on a whim at the bar late one evening. Both experiences were great. Service, and servers, are wonderful and warm. We loved the food. The atmosphere in the bar is exceptional. We were there in winter, so it probably was much less crowded. Try and find a time outside the busiest so you can enjoy this gem? It's fantastic.

The atmosphere in this centuries old restaurant was fantastic. You can feel the culinary energy vibrating amongst the foodies and staff. Very cool place. However it was the delightful dishes that were the stars. We ordered the Duck Margret and Iberian pork pluma. succulent and bursting with taste. We also had the Iberian jamon as starters. Overall a great experience to kick off our culinary adventure in Seville. We noticed the long line waiting for a seat at 8:30 pm and certainly felt very grateful we could just waltzed right in, reservation highly recommended.
