An impressive Gothic cathedral and one of the must-see landmarks in Seville. The architecture is breathtaking both inside and out, with beautiful chapels, intricate details, and stunning views from the Giralda Tower. Allow around 1.5 hours to explore comfortably. We visited in May and had a fantastic experience. I highly recommend buying tickets online in advance, as the queues can be very long and you’ll save a lot of time by skipping the line. A memorable visit and well worth adding to any Seville itinerary. ⛪✨🇪🇸
Oh my god is the expression once one enters the cathedral. Humongous huge maze beautiful mesmerising wood work , unbelievable carving on wood and iron , gorgeous artwork and stunning master pieces. Full of surprises. Room within room within a room. Each room has its own collection of visually striking pieces Altar is so striking and vivid. It remains with you even after one leave the cathedral organ and choir area were so exquisitely carved Must visit
Absolutely breathtaking cathedral. The building is massive and the altar is so detailed it feels unreal. Many hidden and unusual rooms to explore, each with something special. I was truly amazed by the scale and atmosphere. The courtyard is also very pleasant and peaceful. Definitely worth visiting.
If you’re wondering whether Seville Cathedral is worth visiting, the answer is absolutely yes. The exterior of the cathedral is stunning. The Gothic architecture, detailed carvings, and massive scale make it one of the most beautiful landmarks in Seville. The plaza surrounding the cathedral is lively, full of energy, and a great place to sit, relax, and take in the views. Even if you don’t go inside, seeing the cathedral from the outside is worth the visit. Photos are impressive, but the size and detail are even more incredible in person. 💡 Fun Fact: Seville Cathedral is the largest Gothic cathedral in the world and one of the most visited attractions in Spain. 📸 Pro Tip: Visit early in the morning or around sunset for cooler temperatures, fewer crowds, and the best photos. A must-see attraction in Seville for anyone interested in history, architecture, and Spanish culture. 🇪🇸✨🏛️
Very large and impressive cathedral. Astonishing architecture and stone masonry. Great views from the top of the tower which unusually you reach by walking up ramps rather than steps so it is a less strenuous way to reach the top. Quite a queue to get in even with pre purchased tickets although the queue did move fairly quickly. Very busy inside but the sheer size of the building means you can move around most areas reasonably easily. Allow one to two hours to see it all.
