Highly recommended visit for a few hours of wandering and appreciating the architecture. If the timing works out, there's a free architecture tour that was super informative. A lot of random exhibits and photographer friendly. The whole place is lit up at night, but definitely go during the day. .

Nice place very interesting. Very spacious but makes me wonder if some of the big spaces are underutilised. Nice galleries and a little gift shop with interesting things on sale. Quite innovative. Interesting architecture overall and good place to take nice photos and post on social media. Would recommedn checking out if you're in dong Dae Mun area.

I'm not sure abt Korean culture but in my opinion, this place is kinda boring. It was really huge with unique design and texture. I have visited the museum, the design lab and the market. In the museum, they displayed sth called Keykney. I'm not sure what it was but I don't find it interesting at all. The design sell many silly but super expensive things. You shouldn't buy things at that place but save money to buy in others store. The market has many restaurants, the food there was yummy. The DDP is super large but contains nothing special. If you didn't book a mall tour ( which is 26 KRW), you shouldn't visit it by yourself.

I loved this place. The architecture is simply amazing. I went back another day to explore the inside and there was a lot to see. Very inexpensive (basically free) admittance to a really interesting museum/gallery, another free gallery on a different level, spacious cafe, photogenic staircase, a really fascinating skincare store (B the B - a must visit for anyone interested in skincare), and quite a few restaurants and cafes.

If you love architecture and art, you will definitely enjoy Dongdaemun Design Plaza. Designed by renowned architect Zaha Hadid, DDP is an iconic landmark known for its futuristic curves and seamless, flowing form that blends architecture, design, and urban space. I visited early in the day when there were only a few visitors, and the experience was amazing. The atmosphere felt calm and peaceful, allowing me to fully appreciate every corner of the space, both indoors and outdoors. While DDP hosts many art and design exhibitions, the building itself is truly a work of art.
