Traditional chilean sandwich restaurant. Loved the option to eat at the bar, very atmospheric, but you can also eat in a table. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had the most wonderful churrasco with avocado and homemade mayonnaise. Would definitely recommend if interested in traditional Chilean sandwiches!

Very nice sandwich shop, which was recommended as a “must eat there” during our trip to Santiago. We were told this is the place to get a hot dog completo, but when I arrived, saw what all the locals were ordering and read the reviews, I decided on the Lomito. Everything was very good, I was there with my family of 4 total. My wife had an Italian Beef sandwich, I had the pork, my 2 girls had the hot dogs. The amount of mayo (house made, apparently) was over the top. I actually like mayo, many people do not. If the mayo had any flavor, it would have been fine, but it tasted like nothing. A bit of salt helped. Ok, so I don’t mean to complain too much, we enjoyed the food, I recommend you stop in there. (But if you don’t like mayo - this restaurant is a hard “no”.

Fuente Alemana was our first stop for a meal on our recent trip to Santiago. We read about the lomito and wanted to try it right away! It was delicious and fun to watch the folks working there.

My chileno amigos in Australia recommended this place so I tried it out whilst transiting through Santiago. The service was friendly and I was seated straight away. The Romano was absolutely massive but that didn’t stop me from eating the whole thing. The place is an institution
