We have been attending concerts here for years, usually seeing 4 shows a season. One of the best venues in the United States. There is no such thing as a bad seat at Miner Auditorium. Our most recent was January 10, 2026 for an amazing Chris Botti performance. Be sure to dine locally pre-show - there are some great restaurants in the area.
We visited SFJAZZ Center last Saturday night, and it was an outstanding experience. Witnessing Stewart Copeland—the legendary drummer of The Police—was truly remarkable. The musical arrangements reimagined some of the most iconic songs in rock history with sophistication, energy, and a fresh artistic perspective. An exceptional venue for this caliber of performance, where acoustics, ambiance, and artistry converge seamlessly. We will certainly be returning soon.
San Francisco has a good jazz scene their venues where you can catch local talent, no shortage of that, as well as names, but the San Francisco Jazz Center has become a favorite stop of mine. I’ve seen several artists there and including Ron Carter, his Quartet and most recently art tour ascend all and men he was mesmerizing. He was so energetic so fun. I sit in the balcony of the main hall and you’re removed, but the acoustics are tremendous, and you have clear views of the stage and it’s affordable comparatively for me. I look forward to the calendar this year and support the arts in San Francisco with the jazz center and it’s board and performers deserve our time, our money and our attention
I went to the Miles Daves and John Coltrane Centennial Concert with Terence Blanchard and Ravi Coltrane and it went way beyond I could imagine. It was a spiritual experience. Jazz has this thing. The house is great and sound was really good. Can't wait to visit again. And I from Switzerland!
Loved the performance and a light show that matched the music. But our seats on the 3rd level on the side were not good. Just to get a view of the stage you had to lean over the railing. If only there weren't big steel beams and mechanical equipment that really obscured the stage and performance fromtheseseats. Disappointing as the music was great. The light show matched the beat of the music. My advice: sit elsewhere if you can.
