Excellent experience, neighborhood gem. Stumptown Coffee is very flavorful. The Farmer Sandwich, was so freshly made, light spice and flavorful. Much better than those gooey, stale or packaged alternatives. Nice family run business.

Decent experience at this cafe, the interior is very nice and spacious. Ordered 2 lattes and the staff member told us the wrong thing and got the 2 lattes mixed up. Not a big deal, we figured it out eventually but it dampened the experience a bit as they appeared a little disorganized and distracted. The croissant was so good, it was hot and fresh. They have a side bar of spices and sauces that was a nice touch. We had it with some hot sauce and it was very yummy!

Bulgogi onigiri was 80% rice. Sea salt latte was a little too salty. Owners replied; I did request no sugar, but the sea salt was still too salty and it overpowered the drink. Cashier said “it’s just salt and coffee”, no mention of being pronounced. Not blaming the cashier, but the claim in the comment is not correct. The onigiri was legitimately one thin layer of meat inside, and does not warrant being $5 for 80% rice. There was no expectation for a “hearty” meal, just a snack that wasn’t mostly rice with a few pieces of meat. Am disappointed that there is no ownership for the onigiri at least.

Some of the best chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever had. They increased prices but lowered the quality on the sandwiches. The one I get always get came on a roll and now it’s like, sad sliced bread 👎

Great coffee, fresh food, and a really welcoming vibe. Perfect spot to grab a quick breakfast or lunch. Definitely recommend Ashley’s Cafe.
