Lively South American restaurant with two levels and excellent food & staff. Very low key facade changes to a vibrant interior after opening the big heavy door. Appetizers served family style - we had the chicken empanadas and pan de queso, both were tasty and nicely presented. We then had the new York steak, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We also had the short rib, also perfectly cooked. We had a side of the potatoes but the main dishes were so good we had most of the potatoes to go. A nice touch was the waiter noticing discarded wrapping paper (it was my daughter's birthday treat), and brought her a dessert on the house. Staff were knowledgeable and attentive. Location is not the best but there is a parking garage around the corner. Recommended.
Went to Lolinda in SF and it’s hands down the best steakhouse I’ve been to. Ordered the ribeye and a dessert & both were amazing. The ribeye was cooked perfectly it was super tender and full of flavor. The atmosphere was really nice too, great vibe without feeling too fancy or over the top. Definitely worth it.
We just had an amazing birthday dinner for a group of six at Lolinda and couldn’t recommend it more for celebrations! It’s a lively Argentinian steakhouse with a warm, energetic atmosphere and great food, perfect for birthdays that make the meal feel special and fun. The service was truly standout, our server and the restaurant manager were attentive and friendly, and they made sure all six of us felt taken care of from start to finish.
The atmosphere starts when you have to open that huge door to get into the restaurant. It’s has dim lightly giving a place a great date night vibe. Dustin our server did a great job checking on us and making sure we were well taking care of off. The food Short braised ribs - 7/10 good flavor but a little salty for me Blood Sausage - 8/10 the name makes me scared to eat it but it was good Yucan - 8/10 nice and fluffy on the inside with a good crunch on the inside The star of the show was the ceviche and the corn fritters!!!! It a 10/10 and I would comeback just for that! I ordered it twice and asked for me corn fritters. Definitely a good place for good food and a nice night out
Tried Lolinda out as a group of 6! We had reservations, and were led upstairs and pretty quiet for the most part which was nice. (As we left for the night, it was pretty packed downstairs and a lot louder). We ordered quite a bit of food! -tartar de carne $15 -ceviche mixto $17 -pan de queso $10 -pulpo (octopus) $23 -milanesa napolitana (chicken thigh) $31 -seco de costilla (short rib) $38 -yuca fries $10 -gaucho (bone-in ribeye) $85 -hueso asado (bone marrow) $18 For dessert, we ordered: -chocotorta (chocolate cake) -churros All desserts $11. Overall, flavors were good. Plates are definitely tapas, so on the smaller side. Street parking if you're lucky. Otherwise, we parked in the garage about a block down.
