I had an incredible experience at EPIC Steak. This was honestly the best steakhouse I’ve ever been to. The views from the restaurant are absolutely outstanding. Being right on the waterfront with views of the Bay Bridge makes the entire dining experience feel really special, especially in the evening. The service was top notch from start to finish. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel elevated without being overwhelming. And of course, the food was wow. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. You can really tell the quality of the ingredients and care that goes into every dish. If you’re visiting San Francisco and want an unforgettable steakhouse experience, I highly recommend this place.
We had an amazing anniversary dinner at EPIC Steak and it could not have been a better experience. The atmosphere was incredible, especially sitting outside with the beautiful waterfront view and the lights from the bridge in the background. It made the whole evening feel really special. For dinner, we ordered the 14 oz New York steak and the 6 oz steak, both cooked perfectly with an amazing sear and great flavor. The steaks were tender, juicy, and exactly what you expect from a top steakhouse. The sides were also fantastic. The potatoes and carrots paired perfectly with the steaks and were seasoned really well. Everything on the table complemented the meal. Service was attentive and welcoming, and the entire experience felt elevated but still comfortable. It was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great steak, amazing views, and a memorable night out in San Francisco.
I had made a rsv for my wife’s birthday at the restaurant. We arrived on time and they brought us to our table shortly. I had requested outdoor seating because the view is just incredible. It was a little chilly that evening but they have outdoor heating, it made our dinner very comfortable. Our server was very attentive and informative about the menu. However he never introduced himself so we did not get his name. We tried their cocktails they were very fruity and good. We opted in for their porter house steak because it is big enough to share. We also made it a combo which includes salad or soup, the steak, appetizer and dessert. We ordered some raw oysters they were very fresh. The jumbo shrimp was my favorite both the shrimp and the sauce goes very well with each other. I like my steak medium rare however the steak came out to rare. I did not bring this issue to my servers attention because it was bearable to me but it was too rare to my wife’s liking. The truffle mac and cheese was phenomenal. Overall the food was 5/5 to us. I had told the restaurant that it was my wife’s birthday and they had a hand written birthday card for her which I thought it was a nice touch. The server also told us that one dessert would be on the house so we were able to pick 2 different desserts to try. Overall epic steak is very great we would be back for special occasion if we are ever in sfo again.
A Million Dollar Anniversary Experience at EPIC Steak If you are looking for the perfect venue for a special occasion, look no further than EPIC Steak in San Francisco. We chose this iconic spot to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary, and the experience was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I reached out to the reservation team, the service was top tier. Mary responded immediately and went above and beyond to ensure our evening would be unforgettable. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and escorted to an outstanding table with a million dollar view of the waterfront. The personal touches truly set the tone for the night. Our menus were specially printed to say Happy Anniversary Aaron and Nancy, which was a beautiful surprise that made my wife feel truly honored. This was hands down the best steak I have ever had. Every dish was phenomenal. The entire team was so attentive. They brought out a special anniversary dessert, and the staff even presented us with a card signed by the whole team wishing us a happy anniversary. The smile on my wife’s face said it all. She was genuinely surprised and delighted. I am so grateful to Mary and the entire crew for how they accommodated and celebrated our milestone. Between the breathtaking location, the world class food, and a staff that treats you like royalty, I cannot recommend EPIC Steak enough. Thank you for making our 15th anniversary a night we will never forget.
Epic Steak in San Francisco truly lives up to its name—our dinner here was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by Barry at the front door. He was extremely accommodating and personable, setting the tone for the evening. It turns out Barry has family ties in Mississippi, which made for a wonderful conversation. That kind of genuine connection makes all the difference, and it’s clear that Epic is lucky to have him representing their restaurant. Now, the food—absolutely outstanding. We ordered the filet and the ribeye, and both were cooked to perfection. The filet was tender, buttery, and flavorful, while the ribeye had that perfect char and rich marbling that makes it melt in your mouth. Every bite reminded us why Epic has such a strong reputation for steak. The sides and accompaniments complemented the meal beautifully, making it an experience worth savoring. Of course, one of the most unforgettable parts of dining at Epic is the view. Situated right on the waterfront, the restaurant offers breathtaking views of the Bay Bridge and the city skyline. As the sun set and the bridge lights came on, it created an atmosphere that was nothing short of magical. Between the exceptional service, outstanding food, and stunning location, Epic Steak is easily one of the best restaurants in San Francisco. With people like Barry creating such a welcoming first impression, I have no doubt they’ll be successful for a very long time. Highly recommend!
