Amazing views of San Francisco from the top — definitely worth the visit, especially on a clear day. The murals inside are also really interesting and give the place a lot of character. When we went, the elevator was broken, so we had to walk all the way up using the stairs… a bit unexpected, but at least it made the views feel even more earned! Still a great spot to visit if you’re in the city.

Many tourists visit this place. You have to pay $11/ person to go up the tower. Use the old elevator but still need to take a stairs. It's not suitable for dissabled people. From the top, only a small area, you can see the beautiful scenery of San Francisco and the Alcatraz. Need to visit at least for once. Parking is limited.

Coit Tower is easily one of the best stops in San Francisco and definitely lived up to the hype. Everything was in full working order, which made the visit smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. The staff stood out right away—they were talkative, welcoming, and happy to answer questions, which made the experience feel a lot more personal instead of just another tourist stop. The bathrooms inside were also clean and well-maintained, which is always a big plus, especially in a busy city spot. The views from the top are incredible and give you a full perspective of the city and the bay. Overall, it’s a must-visit in San Francisco and one of those places that actually feels worth your time.

Coit Tower was built in the 1930s and offers a commanding view of both the city and the bay. It is a wonderful place to appreciate the magnitude and geography of San Francisco, with sweeping views ranging from the Financial District and Embarcadero to Fisherman’s Wharf and North Beach. Long vistas extend across the bay toward both the Bay Bridge and the Golden Gate Bridge, making Coit Tower one of the city’s premier scenic overlooks.

Having visited San Francisco in 2019 , over 3 days we smashed as much of the touristy things as possible with our two teenagers. Having returned May this year as a couple, we had decided to get to Coit tower. Now having hit the hills and steps to get up to the base of the tower the thought of jumping the elevator to the top was appealing. Unfortunately not working , so 13 floors later we were met by amazing 360 views. The murals in the tower are very impressive, and the staff very helpful and informative. If I'm San Francisco make sure you give Coit a visit .
