Great budget accommodation an easy walk from the train station and the city center tourist sites. They had private as well as shared rooms. (My friend and I chose a private room.) The room was spacious and clean and had a sweet balcony overlooking the courtyard. There was a dedicated room to store our luggage before check-in. The lady at reception was kind and helpful. They provided free transport tickets that were really helpful the one time we did use the bus. They played "The Sound of Music" in the general area, and people actually sat and watched. They provided complimentary shots, which my roommate took advantage of. The communal atmosphere of a hostel is fun. I didn't read the fine print about us needing to strip our own sheets or to pay extra for towel use. Neither was a problem--just be aware. We opted to have breakfast elsewhere, so I can't comment on the breakfast.

In close proximity to main train station and most of the city centre attractions/bus stops. Rooms are fine with proper lock system through cards. Toilets and shower spaces are shared but maintained. Pub is there too with good drink offers available. Looks old from outside but is fairly decent. Can improve a bit on the service though but overall great.

This hostel felt well run and genuinely professional. It had a nice social vibe where people were actually meeting and connecting, which made it more enjoyable. The location is very convenient, close to the main train station and key attractions. My room was spacious with lockers and a basin inside, which was really useful. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely recommend it.

Good hostel with a central location as everything is in a walking distance. The vibe is nice at the bar but it is not a party hostel. Rooms were good, big locker, and comfy but, the heating in the room made it warm enough. Wifi was not the strongest in the room but it worked, it worked better downstairs. Staff is friendly. Probably the best hostel in Salzburg when it comes to price-quality, would stay again. They also give a free public transport card

YoHo was such a chill, welcoming, and easygoing hostel, and it ended up being one of my favorite stays in Salzburg. The social atmosphere felt very natural and it was easy to meet people, but never overwhelming. Everyone I interacted with was kind, relaxed, and genuinely friendly. A huge highlight was the free public transportation pass included with the stay, which made getting around Salzburg incredibly convenient and budget-friendly. It honestly felt like a gift. I also loved the little touches that made YoHo special, especially how they play The Sound of Music every night, which felt so fitting and added such a cozy, fun Salzburg charm to the experience. The hostel itself was comfortable, clean, and well-run, and it was a great place to both unwind and socialize. YoHo strikes that perfect balance where you feel taken care of without things feeling rigid or impersonal. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Salzburg who wants a relaxed, friendly, and memorable hostel experience.
