What sorcery is this! All the food tasted so good that I kept salivating as I am writing this 😋 Every single bite challenged my palate and even the complimentary appetizers tasted soo yummy!! It’s beyond description. The ambience, the view and the service standard were top notch. We were surprised by the price too :) it’s very reasonable for the quality of food we got. Anyone visiting Salzburg and would like a good experience of fine food should absolutely dine here.

This was an absolutely exceptional dining experience. While the price is on the higher side, as expected for food and service of this caliber, every detail is thoughtfully crafted, and the dedication behind each dish is undeniable. While some dishes might meet your taste better than others, you can't really argue with the attention to details and creativity of each plate. If you’re looking for a memorable treat with a stunning view, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Let me start by saying—this restaurant sits high up in the hills. Getting there is a bit of a trek, and yes, I hiked up in heels… so you know I mean it when I say it’s worth the effort. You get an amazing panoramic view of Salzburg and the surrounding mountains. We went with the six-course menu for $195, along with the wine pairing—five glasses for $99. The pours are on the smaller side, but still enjoyable. Six courses is definitely a lot of food! We also ordered the duck liver, which I highly recommend. It’s prepared three ways: pâté, grilled, and a rich, creamy spread. All were unique and flavorful, but the grilled version was my favorite—tender, buttery, and absolutely delicious. Definitely a dish you can share. Overall, the restaurant is absolutely worth a visit for the experience and the stunning views. It’s a truly beautiful spot.

The restaurant is lux and fantastically decorated. Service is high end and the dining experience was exquisite. We did the 6 course meal and wine pairing. There were extra little courses at the start as well. The food was delicious and the wine was incredible. However the price is prohibitively high for the volume of food and wine provided. Would recommend tentatively if the budget can support the dining experience. Recommend an earlier reservation to enjoy the walk and view from the restaurant

We had a fantastic evening at The Glass Garden. We walked up from the river, and it's quite a trek, but so worth it. Everything was perfect. Chef Wagner and his staff are so creative, and it was hard to name a favorite because everything was perfect. The service was spot on. Friendly, accommodating, and helpful - they took great care of us. The views are amazing and the Chihuly is a bonus in a lovely space. If you are in Salzburg, make this one of your dinners. You won't regret it.
