We had the BEST experience in this hotel! Our room was so lovely, we got upgraded to a junior suite and it was just amazing. We had the city view and everything was so clean and perfect. The room has everything you could need, and if they don’t you can ask and they’ll help right away. Mohammed at front desk went above and beyond for us. We were unsure about our itinerary, he reviewed it for us and gave us recommendations and that truly made our trip even more memorable. A lot of local gems we would have missed without his knowledge and expertise. He went above & beyond our expectations. Thank you mohammed & Hotel Stein for an amazing experience in Salzburg. The terrace restaurant was great as well, Sunny & Varun ensured an amazing service during our breakfast. They also shared their recommendations for local hikes and we are very appreciative! Incredible hotel in the heart of Salzburg. My husband and I stayed at this hotel for our wedding celebrations along with several of our guests. The staff went above and beyond to ensure an enjoyable stay for everyone. We return each year since to celebrate. This year on returning for Valentine’s Day our room was decorated for our arrival with balloons and flowers and chocolates left as a gift. The staff are incredible. Kathleen at the front desk in particular is an incredible host and offers by far the best service we have received in any hotel around the world. When food service was over, the night reception staff even escorted us through to the cafe to get an after hours treat. Honestly if this hotel could be awarded 10 stars it would deserve it. We cannot recommend more highly !
Lovely hotel situated in the heart of Salzburg. Short walk to all popular tourist attractions. Very friendly hotel staff. Rooms were renovated and perfect for a short stay. Hotel rooftop restaurant also has amazing views.
We got the city view thinking it would be an an upgrade but definitely not worth it. They cut the size of the room in half even though it’s advertised as the same sq footage. The other group in our party had a standard room and theirs was much more comfortable and spacious. Still a lovely hotel just skip the extra cost of the city view and go to the rooftop.
Can’t say enough about hotel stein! My husband and I stayed for 5 nights over Christmas this year and we loved it so much. The location was absolutely perfect first of all. So much to do/see and experience right within walking distance of the front door. Next, they made the holiday so special for us. From the incredible 5 course Christmas dinner at the restaurant to the chocolates as a Christmas gift to the kind, friendly and welcoming staff. I couldn’t have picked a better place to stay over Christmas. We loved the restaurant/rooftop for late night drinks. The room was absolutely perfect for us and they cleaned it every day to perfection! I can’t say enough about our stay here. If we ever find ourselves in Salzburg again, we will be back!
