Spent three nights at this lovely hotel and couldn’t be happier with our stay. They say service is everything, and in this case, it really is. Our stay didn’t start perfectly, with building work beginning at 8am on the floor below us. However, Linda at reception handled it brilliantly, quickly finding us an alternative room and offering compensation, genuinely great service and very much appreciated. Despite being close to a road, the hotel is surprisingly quiet, and the rooms and beds are extremely comfortable. The real standout for me was the food. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options featuring local produce, which made everything feel fresh and high quality. We also had dinner there one evening and the food was superb and plentiful in size! Also worth noting there a kids corners where there is a table with plenty of games and puzzles for 30mins play. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and a hotel I’d happily return to.

My husband and I stayed here on a recent trip to Salzburg. The location both from the train station and the old town is excellent. The room was very clean and well appointed. The staff were very helpful with recommendations (restaurants reservations, how to use the bus, train tickets recommendations for a Munich day trip) as was their website. We rented the hotel bicycles which was a very convenient process as they have them at the hotel and did their cycling trip recommendation.

Wonderful boutique hotel just the right distance from old town. There is a hotel building and a villa building with a garden in the center for guests to enjoy. The breakfast was outstanding. The room we stayed in was designed to maximize the space. The bed and sheets and pillow…outstanding!! Very comfortable. The room and the property itself was very clean. The people who worked in the restaurant as well as the front desk and the lovely woman who was refreshing the rooms….everyone was so nice and welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay while visiting Salzburg. Well done and thank you!

We enjoyed our four night stay at the Auersperg very much. We'd booked a comfortable, pleasingly decorated room with a garden view which was a delight; the garden was perfect for relaxing in the late summer heat. The staff were all welcoming, friendly and attentive. Breakfast was varied and delicious, and we enjoyed the two meals we ate in the hotel - one on the pretty terrace. The hotel is an easy, pleasant walk from the main sights. Highly recommended.
