Balkan Grill – A Must-Try Traditional Bosna Spot in Salzburg 🌭 Located right on the main shopping street of Salzburg, Balkan Grill is one of those iconic old-school food spots you simply cannot miss. If you’re visiting Salzburg, trying their traditional Bosna is practically a rite of passage. The place is tiny and charming, with a cute little serving window from where they hand over freshly made Bosnas packed with flavor. It’s always buzzing with people, so make sure to go earlier in the day because the queues can get quite long but it’s absolutely worth the wait. They also have vegetarian options available, which is a nice touch. Simple, authentic, quick, and delicious. this spot perfectly captures the local street food vibe of Salzburg. 🌭✨

Join the queue and enjoy the Bosna! Worth the wait in line, having been back twice i'd suggest that No.2 with Mustard, Onions is the BEST OPTION. Delicious.

We had the original Bosna here. Loved it. The original comes with just the sausage and small diced onions/parsley and a spiced powder. This small (truly) a hole in the wall has a great food. Been in this spot for 75 years and going. Worth the wait. There were 15 or so people in line at any given time.

Hidden bosna stand in the middle of a walkway/pathway. A bit on the pricey side for a bosna, but worth it with how flavourful it was. They use raw onions as a topping, so if that's not your preference, you'll want to try one of the options without it.

We had the original Bosna and the ketchup bosna. They were €6.20 each and were so worth it. We really enjoyed these! There was a bit of a queue but the service was very quick.
