One of the cocktails I had was an amazing blend with a local liquor (I think thats what I heard!). It had a spicy kick and was strangely addictive in the best way. We sat at the bar and had the most fun watching the bartender work. He clearly knew his craft and was also incredibly friendly and easy to talk to, which made the whole experience even better. We had stumbled upon the place by chance, but ended up loving every bit of it. The atmosphere was lively without being overwhelming, the people were warm, and the drinks were excellent. It turned out to be one of those unexpected finds that end up becoming a highlight of the trip. Cheers!
Visited this place twice a row for my trip in Saigon. Im from Hong Kong and been to plenty of amazing cocktail bars. This one is up to world class standard and the vibe is warm and welcoming. After checking out several cocktail bars in Saigon, this is the one to go for nice drinks and a good time. On a side note, the live band is also great.
The Alley Cocktail Bar is definitely worth a visit! The cocktails are well made, and very delicious! The small bites we ordered were a great accompaniment. I highly recommend a visit if you are in HCMC and looking for some good cocktails. *One area for improvement - we were sat at the table by the door and it was VERY dark in the corner, making it impossible to read the menu without using our phone flashlights, which was disruptive to those around us. A small table top lamp would be useful to address this. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
Atmosphere is fantastic. It’s like a hidden and unrealistic space. It is hided but kind staff can find you. It was very nice. And bartender’s skill is amazing. I sipped yamazaki 12 years, but it was most attractive yamazaki in my full life. I absolutely recommend you guys.
I went here ages ago, and now I'm seeing all these reviews pop up. The place is exactly what you want if you like a private, cozy spot. It's tucked away in a small alley so it's a bit of a hunt to find, but totally worth the effort. The cocktails are so good, seriously. Every drink was on point, and they have some really unique signature stuff. The light snacks were decent too. I remember the corner we sat in was a little dark, so we had to use our phone flashlights for the menu. But overall, it was a super chill experience. If you haven't been, you should definitely go. The quality is solid. I'm actually thinking of going back soon to see if anything has changed.
