We were recommended this restaurant by our local friend, and we love it! No sight of tourists, and only local presented at the time of our visit. Good service. The one young staff can communicate in English well. Wait time is no longer than 10 mins. The recommended dishes are butter snails with Banhmi (it was so good that we were busy devouring it and forgot to take photos haha), the finger snail with garlic sauce and fried noodle with morning glory only. We spent 500,000 Dong there, which is very reasonable given we ordered around 6-7 dishes and a few drinks! Overall, we had a very lovely dinner there! Recommended!

One of my favorite Shellfish restaurants in Ho Chi Minh. The restaurant was a bit messy but we love it. Admittedly it didn’t look very clean but all shellfish dishes were tasty. My favorite one was the one that cooked in butter and you have to dip with Baguette. The staff don’t speak English so make sure you have local people with you!

Here is my go to quan oc (snail restaurant). I always like anything I adore here, so perhaps ask the waiters and waitresses what is good. What I often order: * Ngao hap sa ot (Clams steams with lemon grass and chilli) * Oc len xao dua (snails in coconut sauce) * Oc xao bo (snails stir fried in butter, have it with bread!) * Hau nuong pho mai (Oyster grilled with cheese) * So diep nuong mo hanh (Scallops grilled with sprind onions and peanuts) * Rang muc bo (Squid teeth in a buttery sauce, eat with bread) —> this is the most delicious thing on the menu

The restaurant is small but quite busy, and dishes are served quickly. The space is rather limited, so it might feel a bit cramped. If you’re driving, you can park at the nearby history muúeum.

📍 Quán Ốc Khánh 🦪 Seafood heaven in Saigon! Fresh, flavorful, and absolutely addictive. The grilled oysters with cheese and peanuts are a must-try! Affordable prices, generous portions, and full of local vibes. Don’t miss this spot if you love Vietnamese-style seafood!
