I stayed at this hotel for two weeks during Carnival, and it really became a calm, clean home base away from all the chaos. The rooms were always spotless, including the bathrooms, and the customer service was excellent — you genuinely feel looked after and safe. The pool area is lovely, the pool-bar drinks are great, and the beach beds and towel service are a really nice touch. I’ve rated this as a 5-star stay overall, but I did expect a bit more from the property itself. It feels more like a high 4-star hotel that’s been given a 5-star rating — which seems to be more of a Rio thing than an issue with this particular hotel. The gym, for example, is very small and basic, and the sauna/steam room feel like features added just to tick the 5-star boxes. That said, it’s a comfortable, clean, safe and well-run place to stay — especially during Carnival — no issues.

My experience at Hotel Miramar was wonderful. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to help, making me feel truly welcome throughout my stay. The rooms were very cozy, comfortable, and well maintained. One of the highlights of the hotel is the rooftop, which offers stunning views and is the perfect place to watch both the sunrise and the sunset. Without a doubt, it was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, outstanding service, and a memorable stay.

Our stay at Miramar Hotel by Windsor in Copacabana was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, the customer service exceeded expectations. We arrived early, and the hotel graciously accommodated us with an early check-in, which made such a difference after traveling. The level of service throughout our stay was honestly some of the best I’ve experienced in a very long time. Our room was spotless every single day, and housekeeping was incredibly attentive. When we realized we needed a converter to charge our devices, the staff brought one up immediately without hesitation. The location is perfect — literally right across from Copacabana Beach — and the complimentary beach chairs, towels, and umbrella made the experience even better and so convenient. One thing that truly impressed us was the concierge/front desk service. We wanted to have dinner at a very popular steakhouse last minute, but reservations online were completely booked. The hotel staff actually called on our behalf and secured us a reservation within an hour! That level of hospitality and effort is rare. The breakfast was spectacular as well. There was an omelette station, fresh juices, and so much variety. The service during breakfast felt like dining in a true 5-star restaurant. And lastly, the rooftop pool and restaurant views are absolutely breathtaking. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Miramar Hotel by Windsor to anyone visiting Rio!

Great hotel, fantastic location, you step outside and Copacabana beach is there on the door step! The staff here having to be of the best of any hotel I’ve stayed. They were all consistently friendly, welcoming, warm, always greeting with a smile and readily available to help at any given moment, I really was impressed! The rooms were very comfortable, clean and a great size too. A beautiful rooftop terrace is on the 16th floor for tanning, drinks or to use the sauna/gym. Gym is on the smaller side but it has everything you need. Thank you for a wonderful stay and amazing service!

The hotel is very well located, close to the beach and the main attractions of Copacabana. The staff was polite and helpful throughout the stay, creating a pleasant first impression. Room cleanliness was at a good level. The food was acceptable, with some room for improvement in terms of variety. Sound insulation could be better, as occasional noise from outside and neighboring rooms could be heard, which slightly affected overall comfort. Overall, a good option mainly due to its location and friendly service, with some areas that could be improved.
