Absolutely fantastic experience. Quality ingredients. Special, thoughtful, and delicious dishes just at the right portions. Excellent service with great attention to details. Highly recommended!
A top tier experience and tasting menu. Wonderful, unique food, and an especially good wine pairing. I could feel the inspiration and skill in every wine selection. The hospitality and environment was also perfect. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a true gastronomical experience in Rio. Perhaps my only gripe would be that the wine prices were very high, I was hoping for a glass of champagne or sparkling wine to start the evening and it was $75. I think some glass choices a bit lower in price would help the overall experience.
Two things made my experience unpleasant A poor air conditioning system. Cold air blowing on your neck and food is not ideal.. and loud unwelcoming music. Regrettably It is another Instagram restaurant. Food is well presented, but lacking in taste. From an oyster drowned in a green slimy juice to a pork belly tough, cold and fibrous (they should put dental floss in the bathroom like it is done in less fashionable churrascarias). Service was attentive and the only dish worth any star was the langoustine.
Was a little bit worried after reading controversial reviews. However everything went well, the food was divine and they fulfilled our request and speeded up the process as we had a flight to catch. Additionally my boyfriend had birthday and I asked for a little cake so they did. The only disappointment, well not a real disappointment but premium wine menu is the wine from Europe. We are coming from the Netherlands and thought that we would try local wines, but premium option is just a European selection. I think it would be better to explore South American wines.
To be completely honest frankly,. I was a dissapointed and I will detail it out as my expectations were high. I have been to several top 50 and many Mich starred resturants and Oteque deapite its hype etc is not deserving The service was very uninterested. There was a bored and unenthusiatic demeanor to the service. Also they were inattentive. Had to call for a missing napkin for example There was a cracked bread plate we had to return There was a glass of water with something in it we had to return But what was really irritating was that in a small setting - 6 tables / maybe a max of 25-30 diners, there was absolutely no personal attention. Especially for the steep price paid for a meal here. The chef did not greet or even make a polite visit. In fact he spent over an hour or 2 chatting with some young tuber diners filming him and chatting with them and promoting himself. I am inclined to to say that with the media and marketing about this place, this felt more like a tourist trap Food quality wise - it was very good and fish forward which is very pleasing. But certainly not coming back. I would keep the expectations low for anyone dining here
