A chic rooftop bar on the 39th floor of the Hilton, offering unobstructed views of the entire Copacabana beach.

If I’m honest I wasn’t expecting great things but had a burger here and it was really excellent, including the fries, and the beer! The service was a little slow but for R$450 a family of 4 were very satisfied and consider this one of the best meals they’ve had in Rio. The views are also excellent, especially around sunset, which just adds to the experience.
Nice and spacious rooftop bar at the Hilton Hotel across from the Copacabana beach. It’s open only for hotel guests ( you need your room key to access the elevator) and I believe that’s why is not too crowded. Enjoy some drinks and go for a swim at the pool next to the bar. The service was amazing. The whole staff was very friendly, Renato explaining to me the menu making suggestions. Prices are reasonable. I definitely recommend and will be back. I had fish and chips appetizer and shrimp tempura. It is enough for 2 people.
Nice rooftop lounge restaurant @ Hilton Copacabana. The decor is very chic, with ample seating and fantastic views of Copacabana beach and surrounding mountains. We were only there for drinks, which were above average but nothing to rave about. The service was okay, not proactive enough, even when they weren’t busy. Definitely worth a visit to enjoy the ambiance and the view.
For our first evening in Rio, we decided to head up to the 39th floor of the Hilton to the Isabel Lounge. We ordered a couple of Margaritas. The Margaritas were strong (which is good) and very tart with limes. Very reviving after a day travelling. All the people that worked in the “Lounge” that evening were super friendly and helpful. We ordered the following: 180g of Grilled Shrimp with Garlic, Oil and Lemon. The dish arrived in a little terracotta bowl with toasted focaccia on the side. It was a generous portion of succulent prawns and the sauce was perfect for dipping the crispy bread. Shrimp Tempura with Red Berry Sauce. The tempura batter was perfectly crunchy and the prawns were big and juicy. Chicken Stick, which came with a lemon and chimichurri mayonnaise. The chicken came in long breaded strips that were dry and definitely needed the accompanying sauce. Finally we had an obligatory portion of fries. These came in a mini wired frying basket. They were a decent sized portion with a McDonalds consistency. To finish off we has a Caipirinha cocktail, which was refreshingly limey.
Was traveling with a group staying at the Hilton Copacabana for a few nights, and we all decided to venture up to Isabel Lounge for a beverage before heading to an event. Our bartender was awesome and very welcoming - mentioning that he, without a doubt, made the best Caipirinha in Rio. After doing some sampling elsewhere - he was right! The service was top notch, but I have to say that the hotel as a whole is a little bit tired. You're most definitely not going to find a better location and view in Copacabana, but the common areas of the hotel, bar and restaurants included, could use some TLC. Great spot to have a drink before heading out elsewhere for your day / night, but wasn't prepared to eat there.
