Very good restaurant, the service is very good and they did offer English menu, which was a big help for us. The food is spot on, gave us very good impression to Brazilian steak and bbq. Love it!
File de Ouro has long held a special place in my heart as one of my absolute favorite dining spots. Every dish they serve embodies the essence of homemade comfort food, crafted with care and inviting flavors. The meat dishes are consistently cooked to perfection, tender and bursting with flavor. A standout favorite is their waffle chips, which are delightfully crispy and uniquely seasoned, adding a satisfying crunch to any meal. However, the true showstopper is undoubtedly their black beans; rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, they elevate the dining experience to new heights. The service at File de Ouro is exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff who create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, you’re enveloped in a cozy, homely vibe that makes you feel instantly at ease. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, savor every bite, and enjoy the delightful company of friends or family.
The best food I have had in Rio! Definitely recommend the top sirloin. Potatoes are to die for! Food aside, Paloma gave us the best experience we could ask for! 10/10
The best place in Rio for a steak. You should ask for a Filé à Oswaldo Aranha! The fries are unbelievable! Absolutely unforgettable! As a starter, bolinho de bacalhau! At least two!
We tried the picanha with potato fries and it was tender and tasty. The dish comes with rice and feijoada, so the portions are quite big. We added a potato puré which was very good aswell. The staff is nice and present. Excellent experience, we even came a second time.
