This place was stunning. The food and coffee selection were great, with good portions to match. It’s a little on the expensive side, but honestly, it’s worth it. I got the chicken salad croissant and a coffee shake, both were really good. That said, what really makes this place stand out is the design of the building. The interior is beautiful and feels like an experience on its own, not just a café stop. Overall, a must-visit spot for the atmosphere alone, with solid food and coffee to back it up.

The food was delicious, and I absolutely loved the venue. It is a wonderful historic building with a spacious atmosphere, high ceilings, large mirrors, and beautiful color combinations that create a very pleasant setting. There were many people waiting in line at the entrance, so I highly recommend making a reservation before going.

We stopped in for coffee and absolutely loved the experience. We ordered the Espresso Mochaccino and Cappuccino Colombo. Both were rich and beautifully layered, full of flavour, and very well made. The Cappuccino Colombo in particular felt indulgent without being heavy. The décor is stunning. Grand, festive, and full of old-world charm. You really feel the history the moment you walk in. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. A practical note: Uber is not allowed to enter the street directly. If you’re leaving around 7 pm, it’s best to call your Uber from inside the café, as many of the surrounding streets are dark and closed on Saturday evenings.

Beautiful interior and definitely worth a visit. I had a coffee and Brigadeiro which were both excellent. It's a bit cavernous which, as the place is a big tourist attraction, makes the ambient noise quite loud when it's full. Which is most of the time of course. Not a deal breaker and wouldn't put me off coming back, but worth being prepared for. The staff are also obviously working flat out so the service can be a bit slow and impersonal. They are friendly enough when you do pin them down!
