What a lively, authentic Brazilian restaurant in Santa Teresa! We ordered the classic feijoada. A comforting black bean stew with beef and pork, served with rice, garlic sautéed Brazilian kale, farofa with crispy pork belly, and sliced orange. The meat was incredibly tender, the beans rich and soft, and the flavours perfectly balanced. We also tried the mixed mini pastels, crispy and freshly fried, with fillings of black beans and pork, minced meat, shrimp, and jerked beef with Brazilian cheese, all so tasty. The Brazilian lemonade was bright, very lemony and less sweet, so refreshing. Charming decor, full of soul, and quick, friendly service. A must visit in Santa Teresa.

We ordered the Yuca, the fried chicken and the feijoada. It was a lot of food but def very expensive. The feijoada has a very strong pork taste for those that are foreign. The fried chicken was tasty.

This restaurant in Santa Teresa did not disappoint. The carne seca com abóbora was delicious!

Bar do Mineiro was exactly what we needed after a hot morning exploring Santa Teresa. We stopped in for an early lunch and couldn’t have been happier with both the service and the traditional Brazilian food. Our younger kids devoured the Brazilian fried chicken—perfectly juicy, crispy, and full of flavor, which is no small feat when traveling with kids. I was equally impressed by the beer selection and especially enjoyed a pilsner from Minas Gerais that they import specifically for the bar—light, crisp, and absolutely ideal for the heat. I ordered the feijoada, and it was outstanding. Rich and deeply flavorful, served with yuca, vegetables, and fresh slices of sweet orange that cut through the richness beautifully and made the whole dish come alive. We arrived around 11:45am on a Monday and had no trouble finding seating, but by about 1:30pm the place was packed with a line forming. Plan to arrive earlier if you want a relaxed experience and time to enjoy everything. Fantastic food, welcoming service, and a great local atmosphere—this is a must-visit in Santa Teresa.

Waited over one hour for food. I ordered medium rare steak and they brought me well done steak. Didn’t offer to replace it or take it off the bill.
