Great spot with delicious food attended by locals. The staff was super welcoming and friendly. The pernil and meat were super tender and tasty. The spicy oily sauce was the best I’ve tried in a long time.
The service was not great, they didn't even speak to us, just nodded.. I didn't enjoy the food much, I felt there was something missing (maybe love). The beer was very cold
Quintessential Rio spot. Some reviews criticize things like the sometimes brash service but this is what makes this place special. They focus on speedy, efficient service inside in/around the bar, not being overly chatty and friendly. That works for me! Their sandwiches are consistently tasty. Carne asada sandwich and filet com queijo (cheese) are my favorites. And they’re just the right size for a filling snack while you partake in the true gem of this place….. their chopp brama draft beers. Cold and perfectly poured carioca style. Sit at the bar for best experience unless you have big group then sit outside at table.
I have been visiting this place for 15 years. Best bolinhos de camarao e catupiry; bolinhos de feijoada are not my thing, but they are good. Service has been improving, most of the waiters are good. Mind the place is small.
This is real Rio de Janeiro vibe!! Amazing food, vibe and beer!! Must go!
