Perfect Central Location, Thoughtful Service & a Lovely Stay in Reykjavik- I had a really pleasant stay at Sand Hotel by Keahotels and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Reykjavik. The location is absolutely perfect — it’s literally in town and beautifully centrally located, making it easy to explore everything on foot. Tour buses and the airport shuttle bus stop are also just a 5-minute walk away, which made getting around incredibly convenient. The service was kind and attentive. I had a small issue with the charging port in my room not working properly with my USB cable, but the team quickly helped by providing an adaptor, which I really appreciated. My room was comfortable and had a nice unexpected bonus — access to Netflix and Prime, which was a lovely surprise after long days out exploring. Breakfast was also very good, with a nice variety and a great way to start the day. And having the lovely Sandholt Bakery right below the hotel was such a treat — their cakes and coffee are absolutely delicious and definitely worth trying. Overall, a comfortable, well-located hotel with thoughtful service. I had a lovely stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Sand Hotel in Reykjavik. We were visiting from Indianapolis USA, and felt very comfortable here. The room was pretty small, but clean and comfortable. We expected the room to be smaller like this, so major concern there. The windows opened and we could hear the city noises, which we loved….the church bells, the birds, and the other things going on. It was peaceful and nice. The location is incredible, within walking distance of so many things. Liam was at the front desk a lot during our stay and was incredibly nice and helpful. The rest of the staff was also so nice and courteous. We highly recommend staying here.

Great central location on the Main Street in Reykjavik. Be mindful that the Main Street can be very busy and noisy into the early hours, so check where your room is located upon arrival at check in. Our room was very small, with very limited space and no where to hang up clothes nor any shelves in the bathroom or elsewhere to put even a tube of toothpaste upon. The hotel was very busy due to it being half term. Breakfast was very good and ample. All cold servings, no hot food. Staff were very nice and friendly and helpful.

Such a lovely hotel! Everything was so special and so clean! Our room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was wonderful! The staff, especially the desk manager, were all so friendly!

The room itself was comfortable, clean, and cozy. Front-desk service was incredibly helpful and guided us in finding some local record stores. Breakfast was simple, but had plenty of options to fill us up for our busy day ahead. I love how this hotel is located right in the middle of downtown Reykjavik, but unfortunately it is not conveniently close to any good parking. We had to walk about ten minutes through the city with our luggage, but I guess that was somewhat expected. However, for me...as long as the beds are good to sleep in, I'm happy. Great start to our Iceland trip!
