I really like this place and the food, I've been going there for 8 years, but I'm sad that the meat portions are getting SMALLER and the price is getting higher... Since the price is increasing so much, it would be good to serve more meat, not just pasta... Overall, a delicious soup and a nice place, I recommend it.
We were tired and hungry travelers. The Noodle Station was walking distance so that was dinner. I got the beef soup extra noodles and my husband got the chicken soup extra noodles. It was so wonderful!!! The broth was delicious on it's own but you can spice it up with crushed peanuts, chilis, minced garlic and fish sauce. But taste it first, it really is excellent! We couldn't finish our bowls and asked for takeaway containers. He asked for our bowls and without asking, topped them up with broth. Give the Noodle Station your money, you won't regret it.
I've been coming here regularly for the past few years and this is without a contest the best noodle place in Hafnarfjörður, most likely in all of Reykjavik capital area! And since there aren't many noodle options outside of Reykjavik, probably the best noodle place in all of Iceland! It's really tasty, healthier than other nearby restaurants, much cheaper than Icelandic standards and super fast in service! The owner said that they were going to reopen soon their other place downtown, once the permit is granted. Also suitable for vegetarians, not sure if vegan though, but potentially.
Got great noodle soup, (maybe a little too spicy, I'll try medium next time 🙂) I also love the simple menu
Visiting from afar, we caught wind of a fantastic noodle shop. (I am NOT a noodle person and probably would never have come on my own) My wife was in the mood and so here we are. What a fantastic surprise! I am a noodle person now! Superb flavor on the beef bowl. Plenty of noodle and meat, although there is an option to add more. You will not be disappointed! Portion size is very good. I only got half of mine down and took the rest to the apartment.
