Taco Land serves some of the best birria tacos I have ever had! The flavors are incredibly authentic, and you can tell that all the ingredients are fresh and high quality. Every bite was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The portions are also very generous, making it great value for money. If you’re looking for delicious, authentic Mexican food, I highly recommend Taco Land. I will definitely be coming back for more! Thank you for such an amazing meal!
Right on the water, a 1 man operation w/small mobile vending cart. Just yummy tacos 🤤 🌮 on the menu. As authentic as you can get this far from Mexico. I went on "Taco Tuesday" but there wasn't any special deal 😞😢💔. $27 (NZ) for 3 big tacos is the best deal you can find in the wharf area. As a Mexican, I know what I'm talking about! These tacos are 4.5 stars. They're served hot and loaded. The guy uses massive king size corn tortillas. The queso-birria tacos are made to order with your choice of spice level. Already drenched in sauce. Served with onion, cilantro, consume, and lemons. Add avocado for an extra charge. The hype is real 🤙🏼🤟🏼👍🏼
Definitely the most affordable dinner we had on our trip. Tacos had heaps of meat inside and came with a delicious sauce. Word of warning though, these guys don't kid around with their spice scale. Hot is HOT. Normally my partner & I are all good with hot level food but we struggled this time! Still great tacos, and the guys running the shop are absolute machines- everyday we saw them up earlier in the morning & still running late into the night thorough all kinds of weather. True masters of the craft. Go get yourself a taco!
Best tacos I’ve had, would fly to New Zealand solely for these tacos. Guy at the stand got great vibes too. Look at the photo attached to this review and tell me that doesn’t look bangin. Must try.
Best Birria tacos I’ve had in a LONG time. Super friendly service, generous portion sizes, I went back 3 times!!
