Visiting from Australia and was looking for quick dinner. Cause of the cooler weather we thought we'd get something hearty. I had the Pog beef pie and wife had bangers and mash. We both enjoyed our dinner. My pie hit the spot and wife thoroughly smashed her bangers and mash. There was live band and they sounded amazing. I thought it was playing through the speakers. The pub itself had great atmosphere and quirky. However its really busy and many people came through and had to wait for a table.

We love the food & beer here. Great service. Very enjoyable. Definitely visit again next time to Queenstown.

Great food, great service but urgh the toilets were disgusting. They stunk as if they had not been cleaned for days. This was Jan 2nd in the early evening so there was plenty of time to clean up (not as if it was the end of the night) Recommend the Guinness pie!

Loved the outdoor seating area and its cozy vibe. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a refreshing Kilkenny. 🍺😊

The Guinness here is just above average which is a little disappointing for an "Irish Pub".... If you want to taste an exceptionally creamy, smooth Guinness go to the Fork and Tap in Arrowtown or Paulina's in Alexandra. With that said the atmosphere in this place is brilliant, feels like a proper pub, the food looks and smells amazing and although i have never tried it I definitely will one day. All in all a great place to sink a few despite the fact the Guinness could be improved.
