We had a great experience at Madam Woo. The service was fast, the atmosphere was warm and smelled amazing, and every dish we tried was so delicious. The soy squid was incredibly tender, and the pickles paired with it perfectly — we couldn’t get enough. The five spice chicken was juicy and full of flavour, and both my baby and mum loved it. The roti with pulled pork was also amazing, especially with the fresh coriander. The coconut rice and laksa noodle with tofu were rich, thick, and comforting. The mocktail mojito and drinks were made really well too. Big shoutout to the host who welcomed and served us, and compliments to the chef for such an amazing dining experience. Definitely recommend visiting if you’re in Queenstown and craving Asian Malaysian food — it honestly feels like having a taste of Malaysia.

Been here a 3rd time now, the nasi lemak was on point (and I grew up in Singapore & Jakarta), the rendang hawker roll is always very good. The tom yum soup was the perfect combination of hot, sweet and sour. The Vietnamese coffee was authentic and delicious. The cocktails were refreshing and tangy. I had the duck & pork hawker rolls but regretted it because I should've ordered the rendang one again (it's the best one and the 4 of us who have tried every hawker roll there all agree). The server was a lovely young lady who was very nice and attentive.

Laksa was unlike other laksas that I have had of which I have had plenty. It was smooth and tasty though. Was hard to justify the price tag of the Kaffir mocktail. Attention to decor in keeping with the ambience. Staff were knowledgeable and was able to recommend dishes suitable for those who like to have less chillies or no chillies at all in their dish. Others in the group had Madams yellow chicken curry, asian slaw and nasi lemak. We also had a share dish of roti.

Absolutely loved the chicken curry rice! The flavors were rich and the rice smelled so good. Perfect meal to enjoy while walking around here. Highly recommend! Also, the view just a few steps from the restaurant is incredibly beautiful. Don’t miss it. The scenery is truly breathtaking😍🤩

One of our favourite restaurants in Queenstown! The food generally is very good. The nasi lemak and curry laksa were great. Roti was nice and crispy with reasonable curry. The ayam percik & satay were also quite good (though the chicken was a bit dry). Wok-fried items (fried rice, char kway teow) were good on one of the days we came, then less flavourful on another.
