I love capturing weddings at Eichardt's Bar. As a local photographer, I know it's going to be a stunning day, surrounded by such quality food, drinks and service right on the beautiful lake. Eichardt's has long been a favourite. 5 stars

The atmosphere is upscale and the cocktail menu is impressive. The drinks were crafted well, and the overall ambiance is pleasant. However, a peculiar incident marred the experience. A simple request to split a chowder into two bowls was met with an unexpected refusal from the kitchen, which seemed rather inflexible

A brilliant spot with absolutely amazing staff and a wonderful selection of drinks, you feel relaxed and comfortable in this well established bar/restaurant. Both the server and bartender were really lovely and easy to converse with and made the night even better.

We were charged almost $40 for an aperol spritz. We were obviously silly for not double checking the price prior to ordering but the other cocktails were all in a reasonable range and we just assumed. Our bad, but just a warning they make capitalise on your ignorance. Go to Sunfire where $40 gets you some incredible food that's worth your dollar and you can get a brilliant aperol spritz for $20. Two stars for the view and general service.
