I'm positive about my rating; I give it 5 stars. It's a very traditional Czech restaurant, and the food tastes good. The only thing was the time they took to bring food to our table. The interiors look authentic and vintage, and it's very centrally located. I highly recommend this restaurant to all visiting Prague.

We had a mostly good dinner here. My Svíčková was delicious, and my wife mostly liked her beef goulash but complained that it was very fatty. The beers were also good. Fun fact: this place was the first to serve Pilsner beer in Prague back in the 1840s.

I visited U Pinkasu last year and still remember it as a lovely dining experience. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour — you can really tell they care about quality and detail. Every dish we ordered was satisfying, and the menu had a great variety to choose from. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal. One small thing I noticed was that as visitors, we did feel a bit self-conscious at times as some local patrons seemed to look at us quite a bit while we were dining. It may not have been intentional, but it did make us feel slightly out of place. Overall, it’s still a memorable place with great food, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious dining experience.

I absolutely love it here (so much I immediately went back the next day). On the first day I ordered their goulash, on the second their pork with dumplings and may I say both were delicious. The mixed cabbage was interestingly my highlight (im a suckered for a good cabbage dish) and I would be happy to eat it on its own. Also the dishes are very well prices costing about €12 each which is incredibly reasonable for great portions. Service was friendly each time and food arrived quickly. Can't recommend this place enough!

I came here on a recommendation and it exceeded every expectation. My grandmother fled Silesia and this cuisine is part of my childhood. Eating the goulash with Bohemian dumplings here was more than just a great meal -- it was a small piece of home. Exactly how it should taste. A fresh Pilsner Urquell on tap to go with it, and a schnapps to finish -- because why not. But what really completed the visit was the service. Attentive, warm, never pushy.
