U Fleku is one of those places in Prague that successfully combines authentic atmosphere, excellent offerings, and rich history in a way that is rarely seen. From the moment you step inside, you can feel the spirit of old Prague. The staff is fast and professional despite the crowds, and the entire experience has the warmth and vibrancy typical of true historic beer halls. This is not just a restaurant, but a place of gathering, stories, and history. The history of the famous Croatian club Hajduk Split is closely connected to Prague. In 1911, six students from Dalmatia went to watch the Sparta vs. Slavia derby. After the match, over mugs of beer, they had an idea. And that is how Hajduk Split was born. This connection adds a special emotional dimension to visiting this legendary place 🤗

We came across this establishment by accident as we noticed the big clock hanging on the wall outside. As we went in you could tell it was very old and the security guard on the door was extremely helpful in showing us around. They actually brew their own beer onsite, have a walled garden area with two cannon balls a reminder of the 30 years war. The brewery is celebrating it's 520th anniversary this year. They also hold Cabaret shows in a hall which can hold up to 200 people on certain months. It's a place for the eyes to behold and next time we are in Prague we will definitely go back to enjoy the atmosphere properly.

A classic experience of food and drink in a large hall style dining. It was great. Had a beer and a shot in front of me 30 seconds after I sat down. Had the goulash and it was meaty and good. Definitely worth a stop.

This restaurant is a traditional ale house. It has been operating for 100s of years. The seating at long bench tables where you get to meet others shareing the experience. Very good food..some live music ..generous servings of food and wine. It can be very noisy..part of the deal Im afraid...its fun! A great expirence. Recommended

The atmosphere was indeed authentic. The chicken was well seasoned and delicious, and the cabbage had a really nice flavor – unfortunately, that’s about all I can say that’s positive about this place. I felt half scammed because I was talked into trying a “traditional” shot, and only after I drank it was I told I had to pay for it. It was quite an expensive shot, and while it didn’t taste bad, the way they “sold” it to me completely ruined my vibe. Overall, the food was pretty meh; the only things I genuinely enjoyed were the half chicken and the cabbage. When we went to pay by card, I was suddenly told: “I will add a 10% tip, if that’s ok.” NO, that is not ok. I refused to pay the tip because I didn’t have a great experience and, in such cases, I don’t think a tip is deserved. I hate being made to feel obligated to tip when the service doesn’t really earn it. My recommendation: if you like beer, stop by for a drink, enjoy the medieval atmosphere, and have your meal somewhere else.
