Terasa U Prince, Prague 🇨🇿 Found this famous Instagram spot online and was excited to see the rooftop view over Old Town Square 📸 Honestly, the view at night was a little less impressive than I expected, but the amazing service completely made up for it. You can’t just walk up for photos, you need to be seated and order first, then you get a couple of minutes at the viewpoint. Fair enough though 😅 The host was super welcoming, my waitress was lovely and professional, and the food and cocktails were actually really good 🍹 Prices were also more reasonable than I expected for such a famous tourist spot. I thought it would feel like a tourist trap, but there were loads of locals there too, which gave the place a really nice vibe. 💡Tip: Go during the daytime if you want the best photos and lighting or when the lights come on ☀️

The rooftop offers one of the most breathtaking panoramas in Prague. Sitting above Old Town Square, you can see the Astronomical Clock, the red rooftops, Týn Church, and even Prague Castle stretching across the skyline. It feels like you’re floating above the heart of the city. The drinks and food were excellent, beautifully presented and full of flavor, and the staff made the experience smooth and relaxed. The setting is elegant yet comfortable, making it perfect for a romantic evening, a special occasion, or simply enjoying Prague from above. Everything was a 10/10 for me. I celebrated my birthday last night at Terasa U Prince and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The service was absolutely amazing — attentive, warm, and genuinely kind. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. And the view? Simply stunning. Watching the old town square while celebrating made the night even more special. A very special thank you to my server Sara, who went above and beyond to make my birthday feel unforgettable. She was so attentive and sweet throughout the entire evening. Also, her colleagues Tony and Dominic were incredible — together they surprised me with a piece of cake and even sang Happy Birthday to me. Such a thoughtful and beautiful gesture! Thank you all for making my birthday so memorable. I can’t recommend this place enough — amazing service, delicious food, and breathtaking views all in one place! 🎂✨

During our city break to Prague recently, we visited this restaurant for a light lunch and cocktails. I had seen on social media that the roof top terrace had really nice views of the Old Town Square. The weather was really nice and we got some really good photos of the views of Prague from their dedicated viewpoint. The food was also really good and we enjoyed our cocktails in the sun. Due to this, I would suggest making a reservation to secure a good table.

If you come to Prague, this restaurant is a must. The menu offers a great variety, and the drinks are absolutely amazing. Now let’s talk about the view — it’s truly unmatched. You can take beautiful pictures, and you even have a view of the castle and St. Vitus Cathedral, which makes the experience unforgettable. However, the main reason I will definitely come back when I return to Prague is the service. There was a young lady whose name I unfortunately don’t remember, but she was very attentive. And then there’s TONY — the absolute highlight of our day. Tony was outstanding: attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly intuitive. His recommendations were spot on, he always made sure we had everything we needed, and at the same time gave us space to enjoy our dinner and the view. This place is special because of the perfect combination of food, drinks, atmosphere, and service — but Tony truly put the cherry on top. He is amazing, and because of him, I am 100% coming back.
