Very vast castle grounds. Best to see the history here. Amazing that the castle around St Vitas was built prior to the massive cathedral inside. Also amazing that this is the “biggest castle grounds in the world”. I was very impressed. Nicely done. I love Prague more and more seeing this.

Prague Castle is incredibly beautiful, massive, and steeped in rich history. Because the castle complex is so vast and contains so many historical landmarks, I highly recommend spreading your visit over two days if you want to truly enjoy everything it has to offer. When you buy your tickets, you'll notice that they are actually valid for two consecutive days. This is a lifesaver because trying to see it all in one day can be exhausting! We climbed the tallest tower here, which is around 280 steps. The climb is a bit of a workout, but once you reach the top, the reward is an unbeatable panoramic view of Prague Castle from above, along with all the major landmarks of Prague. It was an excellent experience! This is one of the most popular spots in the city. It gets crowded very quickly with both tourists and locals. Best Time to Visit: Definitely aim to arrive first thing in the morning right when it opens. You'll get to enjoy the stunning architecture with much fewer people around. An unforgettable experience and a highlight of our trip to Prague

I don't know what you can say about this place except that it is absolutely incredible. What an experience to walk through it and even see it at night. I'm not sure what is my favorite part. We even saw a presidential motorcade when we were there during the day. Really quite impressive.

Prague castle is a must to see if you will visit Praha. Make sure to include in your itenirary. From Old town square, you can go by walk, approx 20 minutes to reach Praque Castle (depends on your speed). If you want to see the birds eye view of the Praque Castle, you can buy ticket at the Great South Tower. There are 287 steps to reach the tower.

Beautiful grounds and lots to explore! Definitely takes an entire day to see everything. There are a lot of stairs to make it up to the palace but plenty of places to stand and rest when needed. We bought tickets using the qr code outside of the information center but if you go inside they have different packages that allow acces to certain areas. The qr code gave us the ticket with entry to 2 consecutive days to prague castle and 1 time entires to golden lane, St. Vitus Cathedra, Old Royal Palace, and St. George's Basilica. There are restaurants and cafes to eat on the grounds, water fill stations, and delicious soft ice cream at Ippa cafe towards the end. The grounds offer an amazing view of the city as well. Great visit and recommend to friends and family.
