Amazing museum. I'm really into cars so it was one of the greatest experiences I've ever encountered in Prague. Even thought I went to see the cars, bikes and trains, they have a lot of other exhibitions there. Astronomy, Chemistry, Mining... it reaches every kind of audience. 10/10 would visit again
This museum is worth a visit if you're interested in Science and Technology! Great collection of vehicles ranging from vintage planes, vintage locomotives and various cars, motorbikes & ambulances. Entry is about £10, but don't visit on Monday's as the museum doesn't open on Monday's unless its a public holiday.
Wonderful museum. The first exhibition hall regarding transport wasn’t the whole experience within the museum. Prepare for about 5h of continuous knowledge-hunting of everyday appliances and machines.
This museum will be enjoyed by children and adults alike. It is a technical museum focused on the technical skills of Czechs and Slovaks, which we can be proud of. In the main and most attractive part, you can see historic vehicles, trains, airplanes, helicopters, ships, motorcycles and bicycles. We have extensive experience with all of them, which can be seen in the museum. In other parts of the museum, you can see mining, architecture and construction, cameras, sugar and chocolate, astronomy and much more. You will spend many hours here. There are also various playrooms for children.
Great museum, so many levels full of information, you can spend several hours here. We focused on the transport level and really enjoyed it. Would be great if you could sit outside and come back in, just to get a break from the lighting and heat in there, but that isn’t an option.
