Mucha is my favourite artist and visiting his museum in Prague was my bucket list trip. Housed in the Savarin Palace, the Mucha Museum is stunning and displays Mucha’s famous works. I loved the collection of the Slav Epic. I also visited the other Mucha Museum at Kounice Palace which is a short walk from Savarin Palace but I preferred this one. If you love Mucha’s work this place is a must see. Much love from Canada Xx

Prague is special because it is home to two Mucha museums. The original Mucha Museum in Kaunický palác focuses on his life, posters, drawings, and commercial work, offering a great introduction to his style and career. The Mucha Museum Savarin presents a broader, more immersive view of his legacy, including monumental works and deeper historical context. Alphonse Mucha was one of the most influential artists of the Art Nouveau movement, best known for his iconic decorative posters, flowing lines, and idealized female figures. Born in Moravia, he became world-famous in Paris at the turn of the 20th century and later devoted much of his work to Czech history and identity. A must for art lovers visiting Prague.

I didn't really know Mucha before visiting, but a friend took us to this beautiful museum as a group. The museum is basically a mix between a gallery and a museum. Anyone interested in art history should definitely take a look, as should anyone who is open to new things. Have fun!

Free entry with journalist card; drawings, paintings and videos, lot of interesting information in Czech and English, great gift shop, free toilets, quite small museum with lot of visitors but worth it if you like art nouveau

If you are a fan of Mucha's posters and art nouveau, this is a must. It won't take too long to go through. Its close to other popular places, and is inexpensive. The little store inside the museum has plenty of nice things to take home with you.
