We had a wonderful experience at Maximilian Hotel, especially during breakfast. a great variety of fresh fruits, pastries, hot dishes, and high quality ingredients. Everything was beautifully presented and constantly replenished. One of the highlights was the variety of eggs cooked exactly to your preference, whether you like them scrambled, poached, fried, or made into an omelet, they prepare them just the way you please. It’s such a thoughtful touch that really elevates the experience. What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was the service. A special thank you to April, who was incredibly warm, attentive, and professional. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Her positive attitude and care really stood out. Highly recommend the breakfast her, and if you’re lucky enough to be assisted by April, you’re in great hands!
The staff here are amazing and very accommodating! It's a modern hotel with very nice and spaciest rooms (bathroom is extra nice) and a calm and relaxed vibe over it all. The breakfast is decent! Very good breakfast you can order, and not to bad amount of options to pick from the buffet. One wish for me would be the pillows: Wish they had more form and not so flat. If you sleep on your side you might want to stack some of the pillows (you get plenty, so really not a problem).
Stayed at The Maximilian for 4 days wife my wife. We arrived at the hotel and received a very warm welcome. We were told immediately that the lift was temporarily out of order. We were on the 3rd floor but it wasn’t too bad. We had breakfast a couple of days at the hotel. The other couple of days we went out locally and had a lovely breakfast too. The Maximilian is very central in Prague and only 5 minutes from Old Town Square. Also only 5 minutes from the excellent public transport. The only slight niggle is the changing of towels. There’s a sign in the bathroom asking you only ask for towel changes if you leave it on the floor. We hung them up each day …and still had it replaced every day. Generally, an excellent stay. I HIGHLY recommend the Maximilian: the hotel itself, located in the heart of Old Town Prague (prime location) is absolutely stunning with 5 star quality rooms, extremely professional and friendly staff who provide 5 star service and always ready to go the extra mile, a lovely in-house cafe/bar with a great selection of fresh pastries & cakes, coffees and wide array of beverages (including fine wines) as well as an in-house restaurant with delicious food. The Maximilian also has a conference room available for hire and can facilitate events & workshops. Need pampering? The Maximilian has an in-house spa! Finally, for gym goers, guests can use the gym at the sister hotel, Hotel Josef. Again, cannot recommend this hotel enough: it's not just a hotel, it's an experience.
We loved our stay at Hotel Maximilian. What a beautiful hotel! The room was a great size, comfortable and clean. The hotel staff is very accommodating and friendly. The room had a mini fridge with beverages and they were kind enough to give us a bottle of wine. The location is perfect to all the spots in Old Town. I highly recommend staying at this hotel! Really grateful for all of the staff. Thank you!
