28th Dec 25 La Degustation remains the definitive benchmark for modern Czech gastronomy. Chefs demonstrated technical precision, delivering delicious, unexpected flavor combinations—featuring regional ingredients with a finesse I have never encountered elsewhere. The open kitchen allowed me to witness the brigade’s quiet, symphonic efficiency firsthand. The wine pairings were absolutely on point, curated with a deep understanding of each dish's nuances. Most importantly, the hospitality feels entirely genuine. The team provides seamless, attentive service that never feels robotic—a rare and refreshing quality at this level of fine dining. I left feeling very satisfied with the entire experience. A highly recommended pilgrimage for any serious epicurean in Prague.

Bored to death. Overall ambience was bland and tasteless. Except perhaps for the "bone broth" chandelier's backstory. The amuse bouche were passable, nothing extraordinary. The lick plate was feral. The mains were not phenomenal. And cutting that long marshmallow was just very gimmicky. Not quite sure where the Michelin star quality was. Also, if they want to carry on with an open kitchen, at least acknowledge the customers that are just an inch away. Or better yet, put up a full floor-to-ceiling glass wall so we can enjoy all the cooking without having to hear the background chatter or endure pretending we don't exist. The little liar of a sommelier said there was no rosé available yet on the website, the drinks menu was there and I wasn't even given one to choose. It's one of those annoying new approach of "let me be your wine menu". The wine recommendation was absolutely poor.

Celebrated my birthday at La Degustation Bohême Bourgeoise, and the entire evening was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, precise, and genuinely attentive without ever feeling intrusive. The staff made the occasion feel truly special, which elevated the experience beyond just dining. The tasting menu was a masterclass in creativity and balance. Each course felt thoughtfully composed, highlighting humble Central European ingredients while transforming them into something elegant and surprising. The progression of flavors was flawless, from the delicate interplay of cabbage, horseradish, and parsley root, to the beautifully refined trout with beurre blanc and apple. The catfish course was deeply comforting yet sophisticated, while the beef with beer and pea showcased remarkable depth and technique. The dessert, pairing potato with sour cherry and gingerbread, was both unexpected and memorable. What stands out most is the restaurant’s ability to combine technical excellence with emotional warmth. This was not just a meal, but a carefully orchestrated experience. For a birthday celebration, I could not have chosen a better place, the team went above and beyond to make the evening unforgettable. A truly remarkable dining experience that I will remember for a long time.

This restaurant is simply amazing. The place inside is casual and sofisticated. Service is quick, professional, and very friendly. The servers are willing to interact with you and give you additional information on each dish. I recommend having the food paired with the Czech wine, it will not disappoint. I had an amazing evening.

Had a great dinner here. I left feeling like it was more than just a good meal. It felt like a bit of a journey through Czech ingredients and culture. Definitely recommend coming here if you’re in Prague. I have tried to write a nicer review but it isn’t letting me go into detail for some reason.
