Our stay was very pleasant. Both the front desk and restaurant staff were friendly. The room included several free treats. I appreciate that they read my note and left a birthday cake with a message for my little daughter; it was a kind touch and she was very happy. Although it was just a one-night stay, we were glad to get a nice room on the upper floor. Thank you so much😊👌
BIG recommendation! Me and my wife just had a lovely stay at Josef, during our first visit to Prague. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and elegant as well, with a unique design. The location is excellent in my opinion, a few minutes’ walk from all the main attractions ,yet on a quiet and pleasant street. 3-minute walk from Palladium mall and 8-minute walk from Old Town Square.
We stayed in Prague for four nights. We took a room for three adults. We were initially concenred regarding the bathroom privacy vut our room had a standart bathroom with walls and not glass (good size!). The location was perfect. The room was modern, good size and the third bed was suitable for an adult. We highly recommend.
We stayed in the sister Hotel Maximilian and it was lovely. We used hotel Josef’s sauna and whilst it was nice there is only really room for 2 people comfortably in the room which holds the sauna. There were multiple couples there at the same time which could have been avoided by the hotel allocating people specific time slots.
From the moment we arrived, we were met with genuinely warm and welcoming staff who immediately made us feel at home. Traveling with our dog, we were pleasantly surprised to find a spotless, like-new dog bed already prepared — a thoughtful touch that meant a lot to us. Each morning, the breakfast team greeted us with friendliness and smiles, setting the perfect start to the day. We stayed over Christmas and didn’t have high expectations, yet at no point did we feel overlooked or neglected. On the contrary, the hotel created a wonderful sense of care and hospitality throughout our stay. It truly feels like the staff enjoy what they do, and that passion for customer service shines through. The location is ideal — perfectly central for exploring the Old Town while still tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Thank you to the entire team at Josef Hotel for such a memorable stay. We absolutely loved our time here, will gladly return anytime, and highly recommend this hotel to others. We’ll definitely see you again!
