Charles bridge is the centre of attraction in prague . Everyone will fall in love with this city and this centuries old bridge. This bridge is constructed above the Vltava river ,which is quite a monument. There are many perfect spots on the bridge to capture portraits of the palace and the vlatava river. There is no point in recommending anyone to come near this bridge because those who visits praha or prague will definitely end up here 😁.Lot of musicians will be playing on the bridge we really loved it . But always expect crowd here as it's the center of attraction. As the sunsets the bridge will be completely different as the cruise rides are conducted in Vltava river and believe me seeing this beautiful bridge from a cruise is an experience one must not miss out . Overall we really enjoyed our days in prague and thank you for the wonderful days praha . We will definitely come back again, untill next time ciao.

Charles Bridge is one of the best places to visit in Prague. The historic statues along the bridge are beautiful, and the views from the bridge are absolutely stunning. I spent some time taking pictures and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The bridge looks especially amazing at night. I was lucky enough to visit on a full moon night, and the view of Prague Castle illuminated in the distance, combined with the bright moon over the city, was unforgettable. It was one of the highlights of my trip to Prague. I would definitely recommend visiting, especially in the evening. A beautiful place to walk, enjoy the scenery, and experience the charm of Prague.

Charles Bridge (Karlův most) is one of the most famous landmarks in Prague. It is a historic stone bridge spanning across the Vltava River connecting the Old Town (Staré Město) with the Lesser Town (Malá Strana). Construction started in 1357 under King Charles IV. It is completed in early 15th century with a total length of 516 meters. Style: Gothic (with later Baroque additions). •The bridge is lined with about 30 statues and sculptural groups, mostly Baroque (late 1600s–early 1700s). •Many you see today are replicas; originals are preserved in museums. Famous statues include: •St. John of Nepomuk (most popular—touch for good luck) •St. Luthgard (highly artistic) •The Crucifix and Calvary (the oldest religious piece)

Charles Bridge is one of those places you simply can’t skip in Prague. Doesn’t matter how many photos you’ve seen online — being there in person feels completely different. Especially early in the morning or around sunset, the whole place becomes almost cinematic. One thing I didn’t know before visiting: the bridge dates back to the 1300s and according to local legends, eggs were actually mixed into the mortar to strengthen the structure 😄 sounds ridiculous but apparently partly true. You’ll also notice all the statues along the bridge — most of them are replicas now, while the originals are protected in museums around Prague. The atmosphere around the bridge is amazing too. On both sides, there are loads of little cafés, Czech pastry shops, pubs and restaurants hidden inside old streets. We found some really nice places just by randomly walking around without Google Maps for once. If you continue walking across the bridge towards the castle side, be prepared for the stairs 😅 they can get very crowded and a bit tiring, especially during peak hours. But honestly, once you reach the top and see the views over Prague rooftops and the river, it’s completely worth it. A little recommendation from me: visit the bridge more than once if you can. Morning, afternoon and night all feel like completely different places. Prague somehow changes personality throughout the day.

Main tourist attraction of Prague. Charles Bridge is the only bridge in the world with gaslight lamps. Don't forget to checkout different sculptures as you walk along the Charles Bridge. As you reach the end of this bridge towards Prague old town, a huge gate appears which was the city gate of Prague in ancient times. A shooting location for many well known movies. Best time to visit will be in morning during sunrise for a calm and peaceful experience.
